With a background in videography, filmmaking and editing, I started making short student films early in my college career at Georgia Perimeter College. I then went on to study film at Georgia State University where I graduated with a degree in Film and Video and a minor in Journalism. In 2011, I was recruited by a nonprofit to film and edit a short documentary, and I became intrigued with the interview process and the art of storytelling through real world scenarios. From there I continued not only producing videos for clients, but to also follow my own ideas and passions. Once I graduated I landed my first job in the industry as a 2nd Assistant Camera and Data Wrangler on the reality television series The Carbonaro Effect. I was then recommended by one of my film professors at Georgia State to replace an outgoing videographer at SPR Atlanta, a public relations firm on the bustling West Side of Atlanta. While at SPR Atlanta I was the staff videographer where I managed the video department which included myself and an assistant videographer. In addition to video production and editing, I blogged on video and film related topics. I also wrote articles and produced videos for SPR Atlanta’s media outlet The Atlanta 100, which features 100 word articles, and 100 second videos on topics of intrigue in Atlanta. Now, as a freelance videographer and business owner at Greg Harding Films LLC, I focus on client facilitation in all aspects of video production from pre-planning and scripting, to shooting, editing and post-production.
